Oracle Cloud Infrastructure — Visualized

I’ve been training alot about Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). It occurred to me that much if the information on OCI, and the cloud in general, is very abstract and it is very possible to get “lost in the words” when it comes to concepts like regions, Availability Domains, CIDR blocks and more.

In reality, many of these rather elaborate phrases represent some very fundamental concepts that are easy to understand, if they are conveyed in an easy-to-understand manner. To that end, I’ve been working on some videos that express these ideas visually. Human beings are visual creatures. If we can see something it becomes much more real that just reading about that same something.

Originally, I envisioned a 2-part series of videos on OCI that covered the high level, but fundamental information needed to really make the best use of OCI. In practice, I think it may have to be longer (3 or 4 videos in the series), but I hope that these videos will help people who are new to OCI more quickly come up to speed on it.

You can find the first video on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSmaSMO_W9Y

This is my first attempt at using Blender to visualize some pretty virtual concepts. I hope you like it. As always, your feedback is most welcome.
